Alamo Placita Neighbors Association is proud to make available Historic District Plaques for any home or building within the historic district, whether your property is “historic" or not. The historic district boundaries are as follows: Speer Blvd on the south; alley between Pennsylvania St and Logan St on the west; 6th Ave on the north. The eastern boundary shifts: between 6th and 4th Avenues, it’s the alley between Downing St and Marion St; between 4th and 3rd Avenues, it’s the east side of Downing St; south of 3rd to Speer, the boundary is the alley between Corona St and Downing St.
The cost for the attractive bronze plaque is $250. (APNA uses the service PayPal to process your credit card, which charges a transaction fee. If you pay by check or cash, there is no fee.) Purchase of the plaque includes free professional and secure installation by APNA as well as a fascinating report on the history of your home compiled by neighborhood historians.
